From the first consultation to the final reveal, every phase is designed to bring harmony, ease, and beauty to your home. This is how we turn a vision into a legacy.
Steps 1-2 – Consultation & Contract
Every project begins with a two-hour paid consultation. In this dedicated session, we walk through your goals, lifestyle, and aspirations. You’ll receive professional advice, initial direction, and clarity on how we can bring your vision to life.
Once we’re ready to move forward, we sign a clear, detailed contract. This defines the scope of work and design services budget, ensuring trust and transparency from the very beginning.
Step 3 – Trades Day & Measurements
We invite our trusted trades and suppliers for a full walk-through of your space. Every measurement, angle, and existing condition is documented to eliminate surprises and guarantee accuracy.
Step 4 – Design Development
Our studio begins curating the story of your home. Moodboards, layouts, and materials are developed, blending architecture, finishes, and furnishings into one cohesive vision.
Step 5 – Design Presentation
We present your full design package: drawings, renderings, and curated materials. This is the exciting moment where you see your future home come alive — and where you can provide input before we move forward
Steps 6-7 – Procurement, Orders & Scheduling
We handle every order, from custom furniture to fixtures. All items are tracked, inspected, and coordinated to arrive on time and in perfect condition.
Your project timeline is carefully mapped. We align trades, deliveries, and installations so everything flows seamlessly, minimizing delays and stress.
Steps 8-9 – Renovation, Build & Site Coordination
Construction begins. We oversee the build process with precision, regularly visiting the site and managing trades to ensure everything is executed according to plan. Beyond the build, we handle coordination: site meetings, problem-solving, and daily communication with contractors so you don’t have to.
Step 10 – Installation & Styling
Furniture, lighting, artwork, and accessories arrive. Every piece is placed with intention, and styling details — from florals to ceramics — create a sense of soul and completion.
Step 11 – The Reveal
Your home is unveiled. This is the emotional highlight of the process: stepping into a space that is not only beautiful but deeply personal and aligned with your lifestyle.
Steps 12-15 – Deficiencies, Resolution & Project Close
No detail is overlooked. Any outstanding items or adjustments are swiftly resolved, ensuring your home is delivered in flawless condition. We then complete the project with full transparency: reviewing final costs, welcoming your feedback, and closing with gratitude. To mark the end of our journey together, you’ll receive a bespoke client binder with drawings and specifications, along with a small gift from Studio Sakaia — a symbol of the lasting relationship we’ve built.
